This policy explains what information China Trip Plans ("we", "us") collects when you use our website and purchase our digital guides, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

Email address — when you make a purchase, contact us, or sign up for updates. We need this to deliver your guide and send order confirmations.
Payment information — we do not store credit-card or PayPal details on our servers. Payments are processed by PayPal, and we only receive confirmation that the payment succeeded.
Usage and security data — we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits in aggregate. When you submit an itinerary review request, we temporarily use your IP address for abuse prevention and rate limiting; that counter expires after one hour.
Communications and itinerary review requests — if you email us or submit the itinerary review request form, we receive the details you provide, such as your email, trip month, travel days, cities, main question, and any optional planner link. Form requests are sent through Resend to our support inbox; the request details are not stored in the website database.

2. How we use your information

To deliver your digital guide and unlock access to protected pages.
To send order confirmations, delivery emails, and important updates about your purchase.
To reply to your questions or refund requests, and to assess the scope of an itinerary review request before confirming whether we can take it on.
To improve the site and fix problems (using aggregated, non-identifying analytics).

3. What we do not do

We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address to anyone.
We do not run third-party advertising trackers such as Facebook Pixel or Google Ads.
We do not store your payment details.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies for basic measurement. Your browser may still store a small cookie from Cloudflare for security and performance purposes.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep purchase records for as long as you may reasonably need access to your guide, and keep support or itinerary review conversations only as needed to respond and provide support. If you ask us to delete your data, we will remove it within 14 days, except where we are required to keep records for legal or tax reasons.

6. Your rights
