Digital Product Policy

This page applies to all digital products sold by China Trip Plans, including China Travel Essentials 2026 and any city-guide add-ons.

1. What you are buying

You are purchasing a personal license to access a digital travel guide hosted on this website. The guide includes written pages, interactive tools, and downloadable reference cards. You are not buying a physical product, a printed book, or a subscription.

2. How delivery works

• After PayPal confirms your payment, our system sends an access email to the address you used at checkout, usually within a few minutes.
• The email contains a private access link. Clicking it unlocks the protected guide pages in your browser.
• If you do not see the email within 10 minutes, check your spam or promotions folder. Still missing? Email support@chinatripplans.com and we will resend it.

3. Devices and offline use

The guide works in any modern web browser on phones, tablets, and computers — and your purchase includes a full offline edition that loads with no internet (open chinatripplans.com/offline). A few interactive tools still need a connection the first time they load.

4. Updates

China changes fast — payment apps, visa rules, and train procedures get updated throughout the year. If you bought the 2026 edition, you get all content updates we publish for that edition at no extra charge. Major new editions (for example, 2027) may be sold separately.

5. Refund policy

7-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not happy with your purchase, or if you cannot access the guide, email support@chinatripplans.com within 7 days of purchase. We will refund the full amount to your original payment method. You do not need to give a reason, but telling us what went wrong helps us improve.

EU and UK customers. Under consumer-protection law, you normally have 14 days to change your mind about a digital purchase. However, if you agree to immediate access to the guide at checkout, you acknowledge that you lose that 14-day right once delivery begins. Our 7-day satisfaction guarantee still applies.

How refunds are processed. Refunds are issued manually through PayPal by our team, usually within 1–3 business days. They are not automatic. Once issued, PayPal will return the money to the card or account you used to pay. The timing after that depends on PayPal and your bank.

6. Chargebacks and disputes

If you have a problem, please contact us first. Filing a PayPal dispute or credit-card chargeback without giving us a chance to help can delay resolution and may result in your access being revoked. For low-priced digital products, disputes also carry fees that eat up most of the sale, so a quick refund request is better for everyone.

7. Restrictions

Your purchase is for personal use only. You may not resell the guide, share your access link publicly, scrape the content, or republish it in any form. If we detect abuse of an access link, we may disable it without refund.
